Around 1,200 visitors gathered in the Stadthalle in Sindelfingen in December 2022 to exchange current knowledge, ideas and solutions about technologies, methods and trends in the embedded industry at the Embedded Software Engineering Congress.
The 15th ESE Congress finally took place in person at the Stadthalle in Sindelfingen from December 5th to 9th, following a forced break due to the coronavirus pandemic. Also as digital event While the congress had been well-received over the past two years, the participants were eager to finally meet in person again and exchange experiences. And so, the 2022 congress also impressed with its numbers: 1,166 participants, three keynote speeches, more than 100 presentations, and 35 exhibitors – the enthusiasm continued seamlessly from 2019.
The popular pre-conference was once again held digitally.
In addition to the wide-ranging program, the keynote speeches, which this year covered topics such as transhumanism, knowledge graphs and artificial intelligence, as well as information as the fourth dimension, were particularly well received.
Hundreds of participants registered for the free, exclusively online pre-conference on the Friday before the congress began, via the virtual congress platform. Under the motto "Smarten Your Software Engineering," embedded experts from the industry shared tips, tricks, and solutions on topics such as security in safety projects, code analysis, after-sales security management, automated quality control, and much more.
The ESE Congress received top marks from exhibitors and visitors.
The visitor numbers for the individual tracks clearly demonstrate the top topics of the ESE Congress 2022: Artificial Intelligence, Security, Digitalization, and Agility. As in previous years, the ESE team surveyed the participants on-site, receiving an overall rating of 1.6 from exhibitors and 1.7 from visitors.
