It's ESE time again! The embedded software community will meet for the 12th time in Sindelfingen from December 2nd to 6th. Every year, developers, managers, and project leaders delve into the latest embedded topics and broaden their horizons.
MicroConsult is present not only as an organizer, but also as an exhibitor and with seminars and lectures at the ESE Congress 2019 represent.
Our lecture and seminar program for ESE 2019
How do you improve the quality of your products and reduce maintenance costs? In his presentation “Test First – test first, think later?” (Thursday, December 5th at 11:45 am) presents Dipl.-Ing. Remo Markgraf, [Name], Senior Management Consultant at MicroConsult, will present the Test-First and Test-Driven Development approaches. Visitors will learn about the fundamental TDD methodology, potential applications, and their advantages and disadvantages. They will also learn what to consider when selecting suitable tools for embedded systems to ensure future modifications and increase reusability.
“Who's afraid of Cortex-R52?” This question is asked Marcus Gößler, Trainer and coach in the field of embedded systems at MicroConsult with a focus on safety-relevant applications and multicore components, on Friday, December 6th at 9:00 AM. This seminar provides a comprehensive introduction to the new Cortex-R52 core architecture, specifically designed for embedded systems and automotive applications. It supports multicore implementations and functional safety features. For newcomers to the Arm Cortex world, this seminar offers a concise opportunity to learn about the architecture's unique characteristics and assess its differences from other processors. Users of other Arm-based processors, such as Cortex-M or Cortex-A, will gain a clear understanding of the differences, forming the basis for a structured selection process and efficient application.
On Wednesday, December 4th at 12:35 pm operates Dipl.-Ing. Peter Siwon, co-founder and project manager of the ESE Congress and expert in systemic project management, in his Keynote “What caused the project to die?” A lighthearted, insightful, and macabre exploration of the causes of project demise. He is accompanied by his project mascot, Georg. Using objects from his freezers and entertaining demonstrations, Dr. Med Thod delivers a unique and insightful post-mortem dump. He illuminates some fundamental causes of project failure and offers insights into essential survival principles, not just for projects. A lecture that opens up interesting perspectives on project work and inspires courage.
