The seminars on Monday and Friday offer an opportunity to explore key topics in more detail. The program committee receives a lot of interesting and exciting suggestions for presentations and seminars every year. "Evergreens" like requirements, management, implementation, real-time, multicore, modeling, architecture, testing and quality, and software engineering management are usually the key areas of focus. The growing importance of security and safety in the context of the Internet of Things, Industry 4.0, autonomous driving, and electromobility is reflected in the ESE agenda, as is the increasing interest in the practical application of Machine Learning and AI.
