Der Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) stellt Hersteller vernetzter Produkte vor neue, umfangreiche Pflichten: von der Risikobewertung über die Behandlung von Schwachstellen bis hin zur technischen Dokumentation. Für viele Unternehmen stellt sich dabei die Frage, wie sich diese Anforderungen praxisnah und mit vertretbarem Aufwand umsetzen lassen. Diese Schulung vermittelt Ihnen das nötige Rüstzeug, um die CRA-Compliance für Ihre Produkte eigenständig anzugehen.
Einführung
- Kurzüberblick CRA mit wichtigen Fristen und Strafen
- Vorstellung des fortlaufenden Beispiels: Wärmepumpen
- Produkte mit digitalen Elementen: Definition, Anwendungsbereich des CRA sowie kritische, wichtige und sonstige Produkte
- Wichtige Begriffe: Hersteller, Inverkehrbringen, Zweckbestimmung, wesentliche Änderung und Unterstützungszeitraum
- Für Cybersicherheit erforderliche Produkteigenschaften (Anhang I.I)
- Prinzipien: „Security by Design“und „Security by Default“
- Ziel: Bereitstellung des Produkts ohne bekannte Schwachstellen mit zu hohem Risiko
- Vorgeschriebene Eigenschaften: Zugriffskontrolle, Vertraulichkeit, Integrität, Verfügbarkeit, Aufzeichnung von sicherheitsrelevanten Ereignissen, Beschränkung der Angriffsflächen („Least Privilege“)
- Verbindliche Praktiken: regelmäßige Sicherheitsupdates, sichere In- und Außerbetriebnahme, Datenminimierung, Minimierung negativer Auswirkungen, Eindämmung von Sicherheitsvorfällen
- Risikobewertung als kontinuierlicher Prozess
- Leichtgewichtige Risikobewertung: Datenfluss-Diagramm des Produkts, Gefahrenmodellierung nach der Vier-Fragen-Methode von Shostack, Dokumentation mittels „Security Decision Records“ (SDRs)
- Risikobewertung am Beispiel: Fern-Login mittels SSH
- Anforderungen an die Behandlung von Schwachstellen (Anhang I.II)
- Schwachstellen identifizieren und beheben (Sicherheitsupdates)
- Erstellen einer Software-Stückliste (SBoM)
- Praktische Tipps, um 1000+ Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) auf die 10-20 relevanten CVEs zu reduzieren

Im Mittelpunkt der Schulung steht die Frage, wie Sie die CRA-Compliance mit vertretbarem Aufwand umsetzen können. Die technische Dokumentation ist dabei nur ein Baustein. Entscheidend ist, die identifizierten Sicherheitsmaßnahmen auch tatsächlich zu implementieren und ihre Umsetzung nachweisen zu können.
Anhand einer Muster-Compliance für eine Wärmepumpe erhalten Sie ein konkretes Vorbild für die eigene Umsetzung.
Am Ende der Schulung wissen Sie, wie Sie die CRA-Compliance für Ihre Maschine oder Ihr Gerät strukturiert angehen und aus einer Risikobewertung einen klaren Plan für die notwendigen Sicherheitsmaßnahmen ableiten.
Außerdem lernen Sie, wie Sie bei bereits im Feld befindlichen Produkten mit neu bekanntwerdenden Schwachstellen umgehen.
