Munich, April 19, 2016 \u2013 MicroConsult, the Munich-based training and consulting company for embedded technologies, and Lauterbach, the global market leader for hardware-assisted debugging tools, have entered into a cooperation. Their shared goal: to offer even more effective support to all embedded developers using multicore architectures.<\/p>\n

Embedded developers benefit from the collaboration between these two specialists, gaining comprehensive and solid expertise in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis in multicore systems. The use of multiple CPUs in a single microcontroller presents developers with numerous new opportunities and challenges. This includes software architecture design, programming, and debugging. In addition to using appropriate debugging tools, in-depth, comprehensive knowledge of the multicore architectures employed is essential.<\/p>\n

MicroConsult has over 40 years of experience in training and consulting on complex microcontroller architectures, including TriCore-based microcontrollers such as Infineon's high-performance AURIX MCUs. Lauterbach, a leading provider of debugging systems, and MicroConsult, with its extensive, long-standing expertise, can now offer excellent and practical support for users of the AURIX architecture. The training courses offered as part of this collaboration cover topics such as building a secure multicore software design for AURIX and effective debugging methods using the Lauterbach TRACE32. Furthermore, the courses address software verification and the automation of debug and test sequences for real-time controllers with the AURIX multicore, as well as fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.<\/p>\n
