MicroConsult at
ESE Congress 2023

MicroConsult was represented at the ESE Congress 2023 not only as an organizer, but also as an exhibitor and with the following contributions:

Embedded Software Manager Pattern

Establish core tasks in a scalable way within the software.

This presentation is aimed at embedded software architects and developers and covers the following topics:

  • Development and overview of typical central tasks in the software
  • Introduction and application of the Embedded Software Manager Pattern
  • Application differences between object-oriented and procedural software
  • Scalability 1st dimension: increasing number of core tasks in the software
  • Scalability, second dimension: increasing complexity of the software and thus of the architecture.

After the presentation, participants will be able to apply the Embedded Software Manager Pattern to their software architectures and software design. Participants will be able to continuously adapt the concept to the ever-increasing complexity of the software, regardless of the programming language or programming approach (procedural/object-oriented).

Compact seminar: On the first, second and third AURIX

Insights into the third generation of the multicore controller platform
For approximately ten years, the AURIX™ microcontroller family has been a mainstay in many application areas, focusing on high computing performance (multicore) and functional safety. Now, the third generation of this family is ready for launch. But what changes and improvements have been incorporated into the new design, and what does it mean for existing customers? Which components can be used unchanged or with minimal effort, where are more significant adjustments required, and how can entirely new modules be effectively integrated?

Join us on a journey through the exciting world of this latest and most modern microcontroller family!

The following topics, among others, will be discussed:

  • New core architecture
  • New protection concept
  • Virtualization
  • System architecture
  • Parallel Processing Unit

You will gain an overview of the changes and improvements in the new generation of controllers. This will allow you to assess use cases and evaluate the effort required for porting and implementation. Furthermore, you will gain insight into the most modern microcontroller architectures currently available, focusing on safety, security, automotive, industrial, and multicore applications.

Target audience: Software architects, project managers, developers, test engineers, team leaders
