2. Personal Data

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, i.e. a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name or location data. Your data may be automatically collected, processed or stored in the scenarios described below:

2a. Logfiles of Webserver

Our webservers collect the following data when you visit our website:

  • requesting IP address
  • date and time of request
  • websites requested
  • amount of data transmitted (number of bytes)
  • requesting page
  • description of the web browser used

Our webservers will only store the latter two data sets as far as your browser program transmits them automatically.

This data cannot be associated with individuals and will not be merged with data from other sources. The protocol files only serve for server operation monitoring and, if required, for fault finding, and will be deleted afterwards. The data will not be analyzed or passed on to third parties unless we are required to do so by law.

2b. Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on the user's computer when you visit websites and useful for these sites to work more efficiently. Data required by the webserver, e.g. when booking or registering online for a training, is stored temporarily.

Users can influence the use of cookies, as most browsers have an option that restricts or prevents the storage of cookies. However, it should be noted that the use and, in particular, the convenience of use is restricted without cookies.

2c. Google Analytics

To evaluate the attractiveness and ergonomics of our range of information, this website and our newsletter partly use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics also uses cookies which are placed on your computer to help the website analyze how users use the site and newsletter. The information generated by the cookie (including your IP address) about your use of the website or newsletter will usually be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Processing is performed in accordance with Art. 8 sec. 1 lit. b of the e-Privacy Regulation and thus with your consent only.

Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website and newsletter and for providing for them other services relating to website activity and newsletter usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf.

Google confirms that your IP address will not be associated with any other data held by Google. However, Google is technically able to identify individuals using the data received. Thus, personal data and personality profiles of Google website users could be processed for other purposes, which we cannot influence. This and the fact that data is transferred to the USA are an issue in terms of data protection laws. By using this website and not deactivating the JavaScript function, and being aware of the issues in terms of data protection laws, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

For your protection, IP anonymization is active on this website. Thus, your IP address will already be truncated, i.e. anonymized, by Google within the area of member states of the European Union or the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the entire IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

You may prevent the data received on this website (including your IP address) from being collected, used and processed by Google:
